Donald C. Romig, 82, of Sioux City passed away October 31, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 3, 2018 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd). A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Don was born May 21, 1936, the son of Cliff and Cloyd Romig. He married Inez Souza and to this union four children were born.
Don served his country in the Navy for three years.
Left to cherish his memory are his 4 children; Rebecca (Jerry) Justin, Donna (Terry) Walter, Don (Brenda) Romig, and Doug (Deana) Romig; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Betty (Jim) Posz; sisters in-law, Mary Tinkham and Mary Souza; brothers in-law, Albert Souza, Alfred (Roberta) Souza, and David (Pat) Souza; and many nieces and nephews.
Don leaves this world to be united with his wife, who passed in June of this year; his parents; and his sisters, Jackie Keough and Judy Schuur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Don's name to the charity of your choice.
