Randy Albaugh, 61, of Ankeny passed away March 23, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., April 1, 2017, at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd) A visitation will be held 5 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 30th, also at the funeral home.
Randy was born March 23, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up in Ankeny, and graduated from Ankeny High School in 1974. He then served with the US Air Force for 4 years.
He married Christine Linde and they made their home in Ankeny where they raised their 2 children, Brittany and Kyle.
Randy worked for Des Moines University for 23 years. He enjoyed his family, old western movies, and volunteering his time with Jake's Puppies. He had a natural "knack" with dogs.
He is survived by his wife Christine; his children, Brittany and Kyle; a brother Richard (Beverly) Albaugh; a sister, Sandra (George) Karwoski; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Margaret Albaugh
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Puppy Jake Foundation.
