Linda C. (Fors) Clark, 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

She was born on September 25, 1947 to Bernard and Esther Fors in Des Moines, Iowa.

Linda graduated from DM East HS and met Larry Clark while working at Dahls. They married in 1968 and had four children together before moving to Ankeny. Linda graduated with a B.A. from Grandview University and went on to teach at SE Polk schools for ten years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed retirement to the fullest and loved to travel with Larry, volunteered at Lutheran Hospital, was active in her church, and spent time with her many friends.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry of Ankeny; son, Matt of Ankeny; son, Chris (Violet) of Bondurant; daughter, Jenny Adamson of Ankeny; daughter, Becky (Keith) Danahey of Chicago, IL; and seven adoring grandchildren Nathan, Zachary, Kayla, Niall, Hazel, Molly and Colby. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Don (Barb) Fors of West Des Moines; sister, Janet (Jerry) Card of Ankeny along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Esther Fors and her two brothers, Bill and Jim Fors.

A memorial mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church 650 NE 52nd Ave., Des Moines, IA 50313 on Friday, January 3rd at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served after the service at the church hall. Visitation will be at Ankeny Memorial Funeral Home 4208 N. Ankeny Blvd. Ankeny, IA on Thursday, January 2nd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
