Gordon R. Pralle, 55, of Des Moines passed away at Methodist Medical Center on March 18, 2019.

Born May 23, 1963 in Hampton, Iowa he was the son of Harold and Elfrieda (Kracht) Pralle. He was a 1981 graduate of Cal Community in Latimer, Iowa.

Gordon worked for Citigroup in Des Moines in the credit department. He enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes both basketball and football. His favorite NFL team was the Carolina Panthers. Gordon's favorite hobby was enjoying a round of golf with his older brother, cousins, nephew and friends.

Survivors include one brother Jeffrey Pralle; four sisters, Joyce (Garry) Hubacher, Judith (James) Foulk, Janice Danaher, and Joan Pralle; nine nieces and nephews, Michelle, Rob, Amy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Kelly, Trisha, Megan, and Jason; thirteen great nieces and nephews (this includes Harper the puppy dog).

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, three brothers and one great niece.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at Memorial Services of Iowa Funeral Home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd). A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March. 23, at Ankeny Memorial Gardens (same address).

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
