Heart Emblem

Cameron Reese, 31, passed away November 10, 2019. A Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Ankeny Memorial Funeral Home (4208 N Ankeny Blvd). A private graveside service will be Friday, November 15th at Sheldahl Cemetery.
Cameron Owen Reese was born on September 26, 1988 in Des Moines, IA. He was a happy baby and toddler whose smile could melt everyone's heart. As a child, he was always on the go and discovered his love of the outdoors early. He took youth hunter safety and enjoyed deer, pheasant, turkey hunting and fishing. As he grew up, Cam continued to love being outside. He enjoyed the family's many outdoorsy summer vacations to the Ozarks, Wyoming, and Canada. He was a gifted photographer whose beautiful nature photos won awards in high school. Throughout his life, Cam was known for his big heart and was incredibly loyal to his friends and family. He was happiest when watching or talking about his dearly loved Hawkeyes, Chiefs, and Royals or playing disc golf with his friends.
Cam will be greatly missed by Cheri and Bob Tefft (mother and step-father), Ron and Mary Jo Reese (father and step-mother), Brandon Reese and Laura Schwab Reese (brother and sister-in-law), Nick and Curt Hasty (stepbrothers), grandparents, Wanita Mundell, Velma and Don Reese, Daphne Tefft and Agnes Husske. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
