Betty Ann Brown, 85, of Polk City, IA., passed away July 24, 2020. A visitation will be held 1-2 p.m., August 8, 2020 at Lakeside Fellowship Church (1121 W Bridge Rd. #188, Polk City, IA). A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. also at the church.
Betty was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and now an eternal spirit with Christ.
Betty was born May 13, 1935, in rural Madrid, Iowa. The first daughter to Fred and Marjorie Birdsall. She married Victor L. Brown in 1954. They made their home in Polk City, where they raised their five children.
Betty is survived by her husband of 66 years, Victor L. Brown; her children, Michael Brown of Burwell, NE, Roby Brown of Dallas, TX, Sherilyn (Rod) Harris of Polk City, Rhonda Brown of Ankeny, IA and Diane (James) Klino of St. Joseph, MO; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Lee Brown; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Brown; three brothers and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Fellowship Church (1121 W Bridge Rd. #188 Polk City, IA 50226) or MercyOne Hospice (5820 Winwood Dr. Johnston, IA 50131).
