Condolence & Memory Journal

I wanted to thank you for your help in editing my book JOYFULLY SERVING CHRIST. Thank you for your faithfulness to your husband and family. What are your plans for the future? If you need some time to grieve I have a spare bedroom here at Missionary Acres and there are lots of wonderful people here and especially widows who can empathize with you. We'll be praying for you. Shelli and family, today I am working on the church bulletin for Victory Baptist Church in Fullerton, NE. I noticed that Tim's birthday was to be this coming Tuesday and so I went online to check on him and you, his family. I believe the Lord was leading me to go online so I would know of Tim's passing. I am sorry to hear that but know that he and you have had many challenging trials in your lives. He, like my husband, Roy, is free from physical pain, sorrow, troubles, etc., and we are thankful for that. We grieve, but not as those who have no hope. I have thought about you all but never contacted you and I am sorry for that. I remember you and Tim and your family with fondness and thankfulness. You, both, have been faithful for years and such a godly example for all those who know you.
When you have time, email me and update me on your family, yourself, your needs, your concerns, your praises and anything else you want to share. We have new folks at Victory but there are those who will remember you. We will pray for you.

Tim and I met at Clear Lake when we were little and then again as students at FBBC and in Chorale. I have always known him as being friendly, kind, and sharing God. My prayers are with you Shelli and your family. May God bless you, keep you, and comfort you. (Psalm 23; Proverbs 3:5-6)

So sorry to hear of your loss. Tim was at Faith when I was. I graduated in 1986. May you be comforted by our Lord.

I remember Tim and Shelli well. Tim graduated with my older brother Chip at North Polk, and Brenda was in their wedding. We all attended FBBC. Tim was a wonderful guy and had a real love for the people in Germany. We will be praying for all of your family. Todd and Brenda Thompson

I am thankful for knowing Tim; From attending FBBC , to seeing him go to the mission field in Germany and faithfully serve our Lord with his wife and children. Our paths crossed off and on over the years and our children got to know some of his children, serving the same Christ. I am grateful for the peace that only our God can give, and as my wife Renee made comment, he is able to sing the praises of God again, even now! Our prayer for Shelly and the boys! Even so come Lord Jesus! I Thess. 4:13-18 Ross and Renee Swope

Fond memories of Tim - and most of them from when he Interned in Washington State. The most vivid one is when he had to extract a fishing hook from me due to an ill-timed cast (Ross Lake, WA). From there, watching your family grow over the years has been a blessing and a joy! Having David come through NPHS was a little blast from the past and it was great to reconnect with your family, Shelly!
You're in our hearts & prayers!
