Condolence & Memory Journal

We knew Evie (and Ken) in Muscatine. My parents (Cliff & Charlotte Brown) were good friends with Evie and Ken. Mom and Evie did a lot together, were in TTT together. Played bridge. I loved Evie! Everything you wrote in the obituary is spot on. She was a gracious and fantastic lady. I'm sure you will miss her. I didn't realize she had Alzheimer's, I'm sorry about that. You have my prayers for peace and strength at this time. Sincerely, Diane and Steve

When the moment feels right, ask your dad if he remembers singing at our wedding!

Ken, I was so sorry to see the news about The loss of Evie...and my heart breaks for you. She was such a classy and warm lady...I still have fond memories of dinners with you both years ago. And how much both of you brought to my request to be a part of the student NAMA
competitions. Having both you as a part of those events was fun and your contributions meant a great deal to all of us and the program. I was always struck by Evie's style and grace...and thought what a lucky guy you were!! Best to you and best thoughts of Evie.
