So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Gene and I have been friends for almost 50 yrs. We were charter members of the Ankeny Rotary club in 1972. He was a most enjoyable and interesting conversationalist. Simply stated, Gene was a renaissance man and for nearly 1/2 century, I cherished our friendship. My condolences to Kay, Dave and a very special family.

Our prayers are with you for such a great loss. It has been heartening

thinking way back to 1955 in Ames, Iowa when we were neighbors. It

was a privilege to know Gene all those years. God Bless

I was privileged to know Lt. Hill during my service as a trooper with the Iowa State Patrol. He was a good man and a real gentleman who represented the ISP well ! I was fortunate to visit with him two years ago. My condolences to his family.

Kay, David, Angel, Olivia, Claire, Ameilia,

There just are no words......our heart is breaking for all of you. A friendship of 54 years is priceless and we have been blessed.

Please know we are continuing to pray and may God grant you comfort as you remember and peace as you continue on. And one day you are assured, by your faith, that you will be reunited.

Our love always, Kathy and Ron.
