Sharon Parnell, 76, passed away November 24, 2019 at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines after a battle with cancer. She was born April 2, 1943 to Samuel and Mary Jane (Coplin) Bradshaw.

Sharon was a stay at home mom who took care of many children, whether they were family or not. She took each one under her wings and loved and cared for everyone as if they were her own. Her pride and joy was her flower garden and she enjoyed spending time working there.

Left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Gloria Bradshaw, Sam Bradshaw, and Sue Wilson; daughters, Janet (Mike) Kimrey and Mary Jane (Mike) Swanberg; grandchildren, Robbie Henderson, Nichole (Luke) Parnell, Tyler (Bethany) Miller, and Michael (Amanda) Kimrey; great grandchildren, Joshua Henderson, Mackenzie Henderson, Jack Henderson, Faith Henderson, Ayla Miller, Kody Kimrey, Brandon Kimrey, and Michael Kimrey; and many other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Parnell and her parents.

In accordance with Sharon's wishes, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date for friends and family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Sharon.
