Condolence & Memory Journal

Cindy and family
Our deepest sympathies to you on your loss of Scott. I spent many hours working with him at Parsons Technology. He was an amazing mentor. It was wonderful to have reconnected with him in recent years via Facebook to see him and his family as husband, father and grandfather. He was a blessing to so many people! God's peace and comfort to all of you.

It is very difficult to describe Scott without Cindy. You and your family have touched so many people and we are all blessed to be a part of your life. Your example of faith and family is absolutely remarkable. The good news is we will use all of those in our lives. My love for your family goes beyond what I can express but know our prayers will continue to be with you and yours.

Dear Mrs. Porter, Megan, Drew, and Katelyn,
We are deeply saddened to learn about the loss of your dear husband and father. Mr. Porter was such a kind and loving man and it was always such a delight to see him on his visits to Illinois. We will continue to pray for him and for all of you- that you may find peace in the knowledge that we will all be reunited one day. Love, Katie and Scott P.

Cindy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. As I read all the other comments, the words to describe Scott are so apt - gentleman, family man, mentor...the list goes on. He was one of a kind and I'm sure it is so difficult for you all to say goodbye. I'm thinking of your family through this and hope your memories of this wonderful husband, father and grandfather will comfort you.

Porter Family- How lucky was I to have Scott as part of my early career. Kind, positive, and so smart he was an incredible role model. You had one of the truly good guys as your dad, husband, Grandpa. Peace to you in this time of grief.

Cindy and Family,
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your amazing husband and father. Scott was a St. Edward classmate and friend. We missed him at our 50th year reunion and were looking forward to seeing him at our next get together. We have good memories of our days with Scott at St. Ed's. Seeing your beautiful family on Facebook has kept us in touch. You shared so many wonderful times and the love of family certainly shines. Our thoughts and prayers for all of you.
