Condolence & Memory Journal

Wends, I am so sorry over the loss of Charlie. My eyes filled with tears as I read his obituary. Bob & Pam has told me about his cancer & I had prayed that he would beat it. My heart aches for you & your family. He was such a handsome boy & I can see the McKenna in him. Prayers & love to all of you.

I also want to send my condolences to the Bishop family. I know that you will tremendously miss Charlie, but realize that Charlie is in Heaven right now and the last thing he wants is for you to be in any sort of pain.

Your friend in Christ,

Farley

Charlie,

You really do have quite a story to tell all to all of your friends in heaven. But rest assured that God knows exactly what to do with each and every one of His children. I had brain cancer when I was 12 years old but I survived and am now 60 years old. I was moved after I read your obituary. Your the best and I know exactly what you went through.

Your brother,
Farley

P.S.: See you in heaven in a few more years.

I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say. I can't believe it, even after everything. I didn't know Charlie well, but I enjoyed watching him play soccer and I know he was a good young man. It saddens me deeply to know he's gone.

My thoughts are with you all.

What a beautiful tribute to your loved one! My wife of 34 years went to heaven over two years ago on July 12, 2017 after a two month battle with colon cancer. Praise God Charlie is now with Jesus, forever...

Charlie, you left this earth too soon and we are the poorer for it. You were strong because your family is strong, and loving. You will be missed. Our condolences to your Iowa family.
