Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Kathryn Brooks family,

Almost a year has passed since you lost Kathy and I lost a very kind and good friend. I remember growing up next door to her in Hastings and spending time with Kathy and her family. We had the best neighbors and neighborhood anyone could ask for. I will always miss emailing and talking about our families together. This Memorial Day is a very fitting tribute to a very special person, Kathryn Brooks. I will never forget her..........

Dear Becky and family,

I grew up in the 50s and 60s next door to your wonderful mother Kathy. I always looked at her as an older sister and thought the world of her. While she was small in stature she was so mighty when defending friends and feelings. We exchanged emails over the last several years and always enjoyed discussing family. After watching her service, I can see why she was so very proud. Her grandchildren eulogized her in a most perfect way. Please know that I share in your grief and will miss her. Thank you for sharing her service with me back in Nebraska.

Most sincerely,
Wayne Lucas

Mrs. Janni Sending my love and prayers. May God and the caring love and support from others, help you and your family through your sorrow. May your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. May you find solace in the love and hope of God, and the others that surround you. My prayers is that you feel God's love as you mourn the loss of your beloved and cherished mother and grandmother. Those we love don't ever go away, they walk beside us everyday. ❤❤
