Tribute & Message From The Family

Cal had a zest for life. If you knew Cal, you knew joy. His love for music was second to none. He was the only guy I knew who could head-bang to country music, and pull it off. He also loved bowling and swimming when he got the chance and even took state in a Special Olympics Bowling Tournament.

He might not have ever spoke, but he spoke volumes. Most everyone I know has a Calvin story and most will bring a tear. Some of joy, some of pain. Both are good. He touched many lives in his 28 years on Earth. He had the most contagious belly laugh, and used it regularly. He might not have been the strongest conversationalist, but he sure had a way of expressing his cheerful disposition. He was always smiling and happy! Always.

He was the best son, brother, uncle and friend anyone could have ever asked for. His positive energy and sense of humor will be greatly missed. We take comfort in the fact that his body now matches his personality and he can dance, sing, bowl and swim like never before.

We will be celebrating his life Saturday, March 9th at Adventure-Life Church in Altoona. There will be a visitation at 9 A.M. followed by a service at 10:00.

I met Calvin for the first time when I was in high school. Right away, I saw a happy kid. He was always happy, and it was infectious. I will always remember his strength, and joy. I will never forget the little time I was able to spend with Calvin. Rest peacefully Cal.
