Condolence & Memory Journal

My memories of Margaret and Ray go back to early childhood. All the family get togethers sharing the simple pleasures of life long friendship. Your dad with that chuckle and twinkle in his eye. Your mom with her positivity and warm caring way of always making everyone feel valued. They shaped my life in ways I only came to appreciate fully when I became a parent. They were role models. Their complete devotion to family and faith created a path in life I hoped to emulate. The lasting impact of their full lives lived will continue in those they inspired with their kindness and true love for each other.

I knew Mrs. Yori only from hearing Janice talk about her over the past thirty years. From those conversations, I know that she was a woman with an open heart and boundless love, devoted to family. A woman of great strength, looking life square in the face during good times and bad. A woman with a strong work ethic who still knew how to laugh. I wish she had had more years with you, but what a life she had! Lived fully and beautifully. May she rest in the Light that never fails, and may all who love her find some comfort in the love of friends and family.

Ray and Margaret were two of my favorite people--passionate, intelligent and extremely high character. They were great leaders in their families and communities and did an unbelievable job of raising great children who mirror their parents much more than they might have ever thought they would.

Margaret was one of the most impressionable people I have ever met, She always made me feel special whenever I was around her. The cool thing is that she made everyone feel that way. I will never forget her voice, her direct eye contact and the genuine way in which she always asked, "How are you Kathy?" You always felt like she really wanted to know the answer. Only God could fit such a gigantic heart into such a little body. Grateful to have known her and loving thoughts of sympathy for her family.
