Stephen lived next door to us in Ames, him and my son John became friend,s in grade school. Steve was loyal, and just a good kid. No drugs, cigarettes, weed etc. my son was recruited by Steve, and they both were in the Army. I am so happy that you found JESUS and you were ready to go be with him. Rest in peace Steve,we miss you but you touched us and made us realize that life is precious and to never take that for granted.

Dear Steve and family. I just wanted you to know how special you all are. Aside from my parents, I had never imagined a love and marriage as innocent and unique as yours. I saw your spiritual dedication to God and church, your selfless acts of friendship, your energy and life that touched every soul you met. Steve, I knew you for such a short time, but I bawled and mourned as if you were my family, my blood. You
