Couch Justice, as a student in the early 1950's at Fontanelle Independent High School and member of our great girls basketball team, there are so many great memories to enjoy through the years.
Sixty-eight years later (2018) to visit with with Howard and Norma in there home here in Ankeny, Iowa, to reminiscence over the memories and look at many pictures of family, basketball and of course football. Many more memories were made and will be treasured.
My condolences to the family.

Vickie, Steve, and Craig - I extend my sympathy to you and your families.
Howard was a very kind man, great friend, and wonderful coach. He worked with my dad Richard Manson. Prior to COVID - I still tried to get together with Howard once a year for lunch, with our family, my mom and brother, and friends Jan and Janice. We are thankful to the friendship our parents (Richard and Marilyn Manson) shared with Howard and Norma over the years. God Bless - Howard and Norma forever. Sincerely, Annie (Manson) Arbuckle, Ames, Iowa

I was a teaching colleague when Howard taught/coached in Fontanelle. Howard and Norma and Superintendent Dick Manson and Marilyn and my husband and I were good friends through the years. Please know how much I respected Howard and his professional leadership for youth. He was a role model for young people.
All of you in Howard's family can be so proud of his professional gifts to youth. He will be missed by you, his family, and by his many former students and former colleagues. Our lives are richer for having known him. Jan Wollenhaupt

Coach Justice was coaching at Western Illinois University while I was a student athlete there. First impression: the ever present smile on his face. Second: Always had an encouraging word. I am sure his family has much to celebrate and treasure about his life!! A good man.

I coached with Howard at WIU -- he was a great coach - totally a team player -- as a young coach I valued his advice and friendship --- may God bless and watch over his family

Mr. Justice was my late husband's (Dave Duskin) football coach in Atlantic, Iowa in the ''60s. Dave always talked highly of Coach Justice and was so pleased to be able to introduce me to him when we ran into him in Iowa City at a Hawkeye football game. Dave said he was the best coach Atlantic ever had. Condolences to his family on his passing. He led a very fulfilling life and made a positive impression on many young people. God bless all of you. Coach, you and Norma were highly regarded in Exira where you left quite a string of football wins. It was an honor playing for you. God bless, RIP.

My sincere sympathy to all of you. I remember his little chuckle and a big smile on his face. He always seemed to be happy to see me.

Howard was a wonderful neighbor. He would tell my late husband that he lived on the best street in Iowa. My condolences to the Justice family.
