We knew Evie (and Ken) in Muscatine. My parents (Cliff & Charlotte Brown) were good friends with Evie and Ken. Mom and Evie did a lot together, were in TTT together. Played bridge. I loved Evie! Everything you wrote in the obituary is spot on. She was a gracious and fantastic lady. I'm sure you will miss her. I didn't realize she had Alzheimer's, I'm sorry about that. You have my prayers for peace and strength at this time. Sincerely, Diane and Steve

I remember Evie from my year as Miss Muscatine1965. She was a lovely lady who took good care of us during competition and she was fun. I am sorry for your loss.

dear ken we enjoyed meeting you and evie at the bridges. My mom, myself, along with lily, jacob, melissa and connor liked talking to her when she shared her room with mom ( jean miler) God be with you as you navigate your way through this time. We will miss having you when we finally all get back to the bridges to be with family. Love jane stone
