I've know Rory for about 4 years, we would give each other a hard time due to him serving in the Marines and me serving in the Army. He always had a good sense of humor even with all that he dealt with. He will be Missed Greatly. Sorry for the Families loss.

Clark, Ellen & Marty - our sincere sympathy. Del & I had so much fun with your family for summer events at your house when we were first married & then later fun months with our young family. When our children were young, Rory came over several times for visits - not only with us, but with our children. They looked forward to his visits. They called him the fun cousin of Dad's.
Prayers & thoughts with you all. Mary (Del) Wadle & family

My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Rory. He was a regular at our church meeting at St. Anne's for quite some time before circumstances prevented him from attending so regularly. I always appreciated his dedication, honesty and willingness to share life lessons learned. He will be missed.

Rory had a great sense of humor. On 4th of July gatherings, we had great times, and he was often pulling verbal pranks with his quick wit. Sorry to see you go so soon cousin, and I send my sympathy to your closest loved ones.

As a Wadle cousin (Paul's daughter), Rory was closest to my age so we hung out together a lot during family reunions or when we would travel to see the Des Moines area branches of the family. My most prominent and fondest memories are that he was FUNNY! I'm so sorry he's gone.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Rory was my first live- in high school. We both worked at Burger Chef on the south side of Des Moines. He left his road runner for me to drive while he was in boot camp. Truly a good guy! I skipped school (Lincoln gorl) to go hear him sing in the Dowling Talent show. Loved to hear him sing. He was quite the dancer, too. May happy memories bring comfort to his family and loves.

Oh I'm so sad-He told me at Ken's funeral that he wasn't good but didn't explain and everyone was leaving the dining hall so didn't take time to talk! Many good memories at Ken's as he was growing up!
