A very special man. Don worked for Rick for
Several years. Our kids went to school together and we were neighbors for a few years. Last fall he served us at a fish fry. He will be missed. RIP..

My heart is sad. I remember when I was young I thought that Rick looked like Robert Redford in the movie Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. After the tornado in the 1970's Rick was who arrived to take us to safety. Barb I send my love & prayers for you & your family.

Barb & Family, We are saddened by the loss of Rick. He was an icon in Ankeny and at the Country Club. He was very generous with his time and talents. And his wit and humor will be missed. We extend our condolences at this time of grief.

To Barb and Family,

I was shocked when I saw Rick's obituary in The Des Moines Register. Although he was a year younger than I, we shared pretty much the same journey in small-town Webster City. We always knew one another but it wasn't until long after college, marriage, children, grandchildren and beyond that I finally came to know Rick and Barb as friends. Good people, and I will miss Rick. His presence, his laugh, his down-home warmth. Such a gift to so many.

Trite, but true....I will miss him.

Barb and family. So sorry. I remember the happy times we all shared on SE 2nd street when our kids were little. I pray you find peace at this difficult time.

May you rest in Peace in Gods Kingdom. I can remember the last time we ran together. Always good times with our morning running group. You will be missed by many and may your family be at peace.
