Wends, I am so sorry over the loss of Charlie. My eyes filled with tears as I read his obituary. Bob & Pam has told me about his cancer & I had prayed that he would beat it. My heart aches for you & your family. He was such a handsome boy & I can see the McKenna in him. Prayers & love to all of you.

I also want to send my condolences to the Bishop family. I know that you will tremendously miss Charlie, but realize that Charlie is in Heaven right now and the last thing he wants is for you to be in any sort of pain.

Your friend in Christ,

You really do have quite a story to tell all to all of your friends in heaven. But rest assured that God knows exactly what to do with each and every one of His children. I had brain cancer when I was 12 years old but I survived and am now 60 years old. I was moved after I read your obituary. Your the best and I know exactly what you went through.

Your brother,

P.S.: See you in heaven in a few more years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Wenda, Chad, and the entire Bishop family as they deal with their loss. May God bring them comfort and leave them with only treasured memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Wenda was my son, Dustin's case manager years ago in Story County. My heart aches for you right now. My Jesus wrap his loving arms around you as you grieve your beloved son. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say. I can't believe it, even after everything. I didn't know Charlie well, but I enjoyed watching him play soccer and I know he was a good young man. It saddens me deeply to know he's gone.

My thoughts are with you all.
