I had the opportunity of making the acquaintance of Gordon and his wife Mary Louise at some family gatherings with the Swanson's back in the 70's. He always impressed me as a man that served as a wonderful role model for those who came to know him. My deepest condolences to his family members and close friends who share his loss.

Gordon was my dad's friend and classmate in Altoona and often mentioned him and what a good man he was. My prayers are with his Family and Friends

Gordon sang with Heartland Singers Community Chorus in the 1990's . It is the group I directed ( and still do). I remember him doing a couple of solos, especially on a Christmas piece Gesu Bambino. He always had such positive energy and spirit. He contributed so much to the community and will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Loved seeing Gordon at Men's club each week at Toad Valley. He had an amazingly strong handshake. I am thankful I knew him
